Laser Type & Power

• LP2 uses a 5W 450nm blue laser, ideal for organic and coated materials.

• LP3 features a 1W 1064nm infrared laser, designed for engraving metals and plastics.

• LP4 combines both laser types — a 10W 450nm blue laser and a 2W 1064nm infrared laser — effectively delivering the capabilities of both LP2 and LP3 with increased power.

Supported Materials

• LP2 works well on materials such as paper, wood, leather, MDF, bamboo, fabric, dark acrylic, dark glass, ceramic, stone, marble, brick, cement, painted metals, and stainless steel.

• LP3 is suitable for engraving most metals and plastics, including gold, silver, copper, aluminum, titanium, stainless steel, platinum, acrylic, and ABS.

• LP4 supports all materials handled by both LP2 and LP3, offering the most versatility and flexibility.

10W 450nm Blue Laser
The blue laser on the LP4 is capable of cutting a variety of non-metal materials, including:

• Paper

• Dark opaque acrylic

Cutting thickness (single pass):

• Balsa wood: up to 8 mm

• Dark opaque acrylic: up to 5 mm

2W 1064nm Infrared Laser
The infrared laser is not designed for cutting. It is used for:

• Marking suitable materials

• Engraving into materials with a depth of less than 0.1 mm per pass

This combination allows the LP4 to both cut non-metal materials and precisely engrave metals, depending on the laser selected.

The LP4 is compatible with LaserPecker Design Space and LightBurn, giving you flexibility across mobile and desktop devices.

he LP4 allows you to manually switch between its two laser sources in a few simple ways:

The LP4 is designed to operate continuously for up to 63 hours.

The laser unit has an estimated lifespan of 10,000+ working hours. Reaching the end of this lifespan does not mean the machine becomes unusable — it simply means the laser output may gradually decrease over time.

• Increase power and/or engraving depth to maintain results

• Contact LaserPecker support for laser component replacement (pricing depends on current rates)

• Replace the laser unit if required
